NEW DATE FOR KOINONIA 2010 is Saturday September 25
The new date, rescheduled from Aug 7 because of extremely high temperatures, is finally set! On Saturday September 25, from 12:00-3:00, our festival of fellowship will be held this year featuring free hot dogs and hamburgers, live praise music, and a "One Penny Yard Sale" where large household items like beds, TVs, and furniture; and smaller household items like microwaves, coffee makers, crock pots, dishes and good clean used clothes are "sold" for a penny. We provide the pennies! The festival will be held this year on North Davis Drive in front of Tony's Pawn, Northgate Plaza in Warner Robins.

A group of us visited Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Ga on Sunday March 28. We attended Sunday School taught by President Jimmy Carter and stayed to worship with the church. It was a great trip! We have plans to do it again. If you want to go, let us know...!

Partners In Health work all year long, all over the world, to provide health care to the poor. We have a connection to PIH through our Minister Lee Harris and his son Julian. Together, our contributions can make a vital difference in many lives.
If you can't donate, please take time to pray for this organization, their workers, and their staff.   www.pih.org

Our gifts come from God, through us, to others
We recently took a pickup truck filled with clothing to "Loaves & Fishes" shelter in Macon. This is only an example of part of what we are called to do! As we grow and learn to tune our hearts to serving others, all kinds of new ideas can come our way. We always collect items in the "gift box" in the sanctuary-donations for the food pantry, good used clothing, or other needed items. We also always collect larger items like furniture and household goods. If you are in need, please let us know. Some household items are available now and looking for a home. Call the office at 922-4919 or let someone know Sunday evening if you are in need or have something to donate.
